Congrats on the BFGs. I've got 32" KM2s and love them. They're not anywhere near as loud as I thought they would be, but then again, you've got the KMs.

Either way, I've always loved the look of the S/C wheels, and those tires compliment VERY nicely.

If I had any other color I would have gone with the DRs, but the S/C wheels look awesome with the silver. Down side would be that they're 17s. Your rig look bad arse with those blacked out DRs by the way!

DR's are that bad on our color scheme's lol hahaha. Sorry just have the same color bumpers, sliders, and truck as you only I'm running the DR's and gen 1.0. I can see what your saying though and I have been considering painting my armor to match my wheels as the bluish metallic gray rims don't really match anything. They come in silver too. But, I am seriously jealous of the rim tire combo you have now. Love the tall and narrow. Probably performs way better on the freeway and street without all that wallowy sidewall that I have.

Haha I think I meant to say would look good with them blacked out. I had been thinking of going with a set of Soft 8s and actually painting my plastic to match, but I like the SC wheels a bit too much I guess.

Awhile back the solenoid for my Smittybilt fried, they sent me a new one and I was good to go for awhile. Then, the clutch would not engage properly. Now it's just kinda dead. With no more warranty, I decided to go with something a bit more reliable.

This is not the newer VR series, however, it is the new model for the M8000. It has a smaller solenoid box than both the Smitty and the VR.

Mounting the solenoid box on the winch still leave quite a bit of room due to the smaller box. Late down the line I will mount it higher in the vehicle, but for now I don't plan to take my rig swimming.
I also picked up a few Daystar switches so I could finally get rid of the Hella switches that don't fit right. These are a perfect fit and look very cool.

I hit up the Carlisle Truck National the other weekend and spotted a second Xterra this year!
The same Yellow one from last years.

And a not too modified Maroon. Possibly someone on here? No mud flaps or step rails plus CB.

They are the same size as the holes already there which is handy. Just the top right indent needed to be trimmed/removed. It was very easy. Just thin plastic that I used my knife to cut off. They have a few different colors. I went with red for the rear facing, green for the bumper lights, and two blue for the roof lights. I definitely like them, just enough resistance on the switch, not too bright of a back light but still noticeable, and pretty solid set up.

I removed the dimmer and security boxes. I tucked them back under the fuses box cover. I haven't got a chance to finish the other two just yet. I'll get a pic when I get a chance.

EDIT: Daystar also makes panels the fit four switches that will fit tightly in the dash gap under the radio,

I know a lot of people don't like this set up, but a passenger side mount works out pretty good. I've had quite a few people ride shotgun without any complaints. It gives me more room, the mic can still be easy to reach, and I never spend any time in that seat haha.
The metal tap just tucks in between the plastic so it stay even over ruff turf, but is easily movable if I ever Change my mind.

That's where mine is currently, but held on with 3M tape. I originally wanted to perma-mount it behind the shifter, but I have a 5spd and my shifter comes forward a little further when in 3rd and 5th than the AT shifter does in P. Hrm. I hate decisions like this.

You could always go the trucker way and mount it on top of your dash or, if it's skinny enough, mount it to the map light box up top. Mine was a bit to big and blocked too much my mirror to go that route, but it gets it out of the way.

Oh got it, you could possibly mount it to the back of the center. I know there's probably not too much space for it though. The roof net mount might still hang too low and bloke the mirror, but it's worth a shot.

Haven't updated in awhile. Back on the east coast after 9000 miles of driving around between Seattle, Pennsylvania, Florida, and back up to Delaware. Also, some changes to the X after contemplation, boredom, and a challenge.

Haha yeah, I like the look of it. It'll probably end up with a Baja or Gobi rack before I put the stock one back on.

Sweet!

Around here, I have to fold the mirrors to clear trees and rocks and so forth, do you wheel in wide open areas where those side lights won't get whacked?

It's a pretty solid mount to the mirror luckily. I've broken the driver side at least once before this setup, I'll just have to wait and see how it works on the tighter trails.

Finally got around to getting the pics...

New Driver seat and belts. I had ordered a passenger as well, but the mounting piece was back ordered and I would not receive it before I left Wa. Four point harness for the driver, three point for the passenger seat. Kind of unnecessary yes, but seemed like a good idea at the time. It was measured and "mathed" out that using the bolt holes for the rear seat belts was workable for the harnesses. This does mean that I don't have rear seats anymore. The bottom of the seats are still in place, the backs have been removed. Got a temporary separator till I get around to ordering a Raingler net. Extremely comfy on road and keeps you right where you need to be going off road.

Also, the stock CD player decided it didn't want to be a CD player anymore. I've been avoiding it because fancy head units don't really fit with "my interior is covered in dirt." However, it is convenient. Basic JVC unit.

For awhile now I've only been running PML height to fit in my garage. Hence the lack of roof rack still and CB. This also lead to custom mounting my hi-lift on the Shrock rear. On the plus side, because of the roof slant there's enough room for a 40in LED light bar (on order) across the front above the window. Pics of that to come...

Thanks guy! After quite a few delays from 4wheelparts and some really unnecessary lack of intelligence on their part... Just ended up ordering from Amazon with so super timely two day shipping. So after two weeks and a different brand later, Rigid Industries 40 inch LED Hybrid light bar. It's a spot/flood combo. Rather than using the standard mount, opted for the 40in mounting bar setup. This ended up using the forward two mounting points of the roof rack. Pretty solid over all. Haven't gotten the chance to really use the bar yet though.

Still using the standard Rigid light switches mounted above the radio and Daystar switches for everything else.
