One problem:
In the US these filters are legal ONLY for racing vehicles. Not applicable, nor intended for use on emission controlled street or highway vehicles in the US.
ummm, yeah, not the first mod on my truck with that issue...
However, it does say on the product page street legal in most states. And my state is one of em...but then at the bottom it says what Diadaga posted. Huh.
That would definitely work. Wish it wasn't 140.00 bucks.Hmmm...look what I found!

I made something similar to this for my DIY snorkel using a ractive cone filter
Yep 2.75" I see it now for some reason I was thinking 70mm was really really small lol70 mm I think...just under 3" (?) it's too early for math

Cool, curious to see how it works. My snork and the k&n enclosed filter will be arriving any day now. Hope to do this next weekend, and I'll take lots of pics.
Ok, I got it hooked up. Not totally happy with it but, it is fully sealed and functional now. Started with 3 inch spectre flexable intake tubing. Basically sealed up the airbox with silicone. Left the eldow piece that ran into the resonator on and hooked the hose to it and siliconed the connection. I then hooked the hose straight to 5he snorkel. It works but, I'll probably go with the k&n setup above later on.
I love mine. No complaints at all.I couldn't resist the damn Apollo filter, it just looks like it should be on every 4x4 so I bought one to put on my DIY snorkel, thanks Sean for making me spend $100 lol, I like the way these snorkels look, if I can find a new fender I may buy one
Yeah, it worked fine just not alot of room in there. You've got to beat the @#*© out of the inner fender to make the turn to hook to the snorkel. Be prepared.Looks good to me that's the way I am doing mine as well some time this week.

Hey ff - what's the diameter of the snork inlet where it comes in from the fender and attaches to the flex hose?
yeah, its 3".About 3"
