After our local fire department put our ems training class as on call during a ice storm resulting in multiple fatalities I have deside I need to upgrade my first aid kit. I want to add a Sam splint, pocket mask, vitals equipment, trama shears and other equipment. This will require a bigger bag and preferably something with lots of pockets to keep things organized. Has anyone found a a good jump bag that will fit in the space nissan provided for the first aid kit?

So I just mesure the pocket and it is 15" by 11" so it looks like this bag will fit

Someone on a diferent xterra sight used it for their first aid kit. I like the different pockets becaus I could shove vitals equipment in one side and bandages in another pocket leaving the main pocket for things like ppe and bsi with one more pocket for medication.

I've looked at and had more than a few bags for the spot and found nothing that I ended up being happy with. I use the spot and the stock bag as a boo boo kit and to hold snacks. I have a serious kit that moves from car to car with me and that seems to work the best. The county comm tool rolls are pretty handy and fit great under the seats.

So I got the voodoo tactical bag and so far I like it. I think I nee to extend out the straps on the door a little bit and I will add another pouch as well as a turniquet pocket.

I think the extera pouch I will use is the same medic bag I have on my backpack and I'll keep tramma dressings in there and keep airway management and he such in the main bag.

I pulled the top straps off today and installed straps that are about 18 inches. Now the bag can be strapped in without being smashed. I think I will add a voodoo tactical utility pouch to the front as well as a CAT TURNIQUET (combat aplication turniquet) pocket and some tramma shears to the front. When I pull the panle the mount the axe I will replace the plastic retainers with bolts to give it a bit more security.
