Mechanic has diagnosed it as a body control module issue (BCM). Hopefully have the new one in or the old one reprogrammed by wednesday.:kewl:

Working on that problem still. They have to either order a new bcm or pay to reprogram it. New problem is that a contractor parked their trailer behind my driveway this morning and at 430 am I backed my rental car right in to it

Further diagnosis pinpointed the issue to a failed attempt at a trailer brake spliced on to right rear wiring harness and theoretically the bcm is fine

unfortunately they were not able to get it reassembled tonight... They had the entire interior and dash pulled and now I have to wait until monday to get it back. No trails for this guy tomorrow.
