I just picked up a replacement H3 fog light bulb for my '01 and I noticed two things...
1 - When I was removing the old one, there was some black electrical tape on the wiring. It didn't look like there was anything "modified" at the time so I didn't think about it too much. When I pulled the tape of to remove the old bulb, revealed was a round male connector pictured below.
2 - The new fog light bulb has a flat male connector on the end of it as pictured below.
I'm wondering if the previous owner cut off and installed a different connector on the wiring harness to use these bulbs.
Do the OEM bulbs use a flat connector like the ones in the package? Or the round ones like the ones I have on the vehicle now?
Thanks.
