Well the mechanics had it for a whole week and I finally got to drive it Saturday. They replaced the intake and some oil cooler sensor or something like that. Saturday, I cranked it up, sure enough, smoke is blowing out the exhaust. Never did that before I brought it to them the first time. Driving around on the interstate and the X jolts and the damn VDC and Slip lights come on again! At this point I was highly pissed off. They had it a week and nothing is fixed on it.
Well a friend of mine called me because he was stuck Sunday while he was in the middle of pulling out this old man who drove off into a ditch. Guy was way too old to be driving and didn't see the person stopped trying to turn off and went into the ditch and literally stopped about a foot from a metal power pole. Lucky for the old man, it pour the day before so it was soggy, otherwise he would have smoked the pole. When I get there I see his Ford F-150 on 35s stuck and only his rear wheels spinning. There was another F150 there trying to get him out too and the ground was so soggy, he got stuck too lol. I stroll in like a boss and put it in 4lo and creep on in there. Pulled the Red F-150 out then pulled the other F-150 out. Shocked just about everyone there. Hook up to the old mans Silverado and a Toyota Tacoma also hooked up and we both start pulling him and the old man refused to let off the brake while pulling him even after we told him several times before and during so I'm just dragging the truck at this point. Well I get stuck because the ground is ridiculously soft and so does the Toyota. The Yota was light enough to be pushed out so once he got loose, he hooked up to me and got me out. By this time, we tell the old guy, call a wrecker because this isn't working. They were all shocked how well the X did and were highly impressed.
So my weekend wasn't so crummy but still the mechanical problems are still bothering me. Onto the Pictures...
As you can see, its just mushy
