I am doing the DIY 2" BL to fit my new 18" Rockstar XDs and 33" toyo tires. I ordered all the parts already just want some tips or things to look for when myself and my dad try and do the BL. We are noobs so any tip is a good one.

In no particular order:
- make sure you unhook the heater hoses from their clamps against the firewall so they hang loose before you lift anything. If you don't you could break your heater core, PIA and 'spensive
- unbolt the drive shaft safety strap. It's an easy one to forget
- unbolt the powersteering reservoir
- loosen up bolts on both sides before you remove bolts on one side and lift
- don't use cinder blocks to support the weight of the body - dangerous. I used railroad ties from landscaping.
- spray lots of PB in the days before you do it...especially if you live where bolts get rusty (and I believe you do)

those are the basics...

Thanks for these. We don't have a rust issue here in Chattanooga.
