Oil Light When Braking Help

Okay so yesterday while driving my oil light came on the way to work when i was came to a stop and then it turns off when I start to drive after the engine warms up there is also a ticking like low oil when the engine warms up. I have replaced the oil pressure switch and the pcv valve. Now when I crank engine there is smoke coming out exhaust but only for a min or less then it stops smoking. No knock or anything just a tick im at 172,000 miles. Has anyone experienced this issue if so what was the problem will be testing oil pressure later on today. about a month ago had new timing belt and water pump done as well.

I mean...One time on an old Celica that I owned I was like 2k miles overdo for a change (don't ask) and my car burned oil...So anytime I took really sharp turns or hard stops, the light would come on and there was a slight tick in the engine because of low oil.

That would be my guess. Plugged line would have been catastrophic I'd imagine so weird

I'm assuming you checked the oil level? What brand of filter do you use? What color is the smoke
