This will be a (nearly) no-wait Group-Buy for XterraNation members only. There is no minimum amount of orders, there is no waiting to hit a certain number of people and there is (potentially) no waiting for your product to ship*.

*No waiting for your product to ship will be until current stock is exhausted. I have more material on order to try to keep these in stock at all times, but the powder coating process adds a few days from my receipt of material to finished product on the shelf. I have 10 pair in stock/ready to ship starting Wednesday April, 16 and I have more material coming the end of the week.

$50 bucks for bare steel is a STEAL...hahaha...get it?

:)

When I made these myself...I paid $45 just for the recovery tabs with no mounting holes drilled. I would have gladly paid another 5 bucks to not have to drill through 3/4" plate with a HAND DRILL

Sooooo....if you need them....BUY THEM!

Quick question... how would these look with a 2" BL'd truck with a stock bumper that was re-drilled accordingly for the height difference? My only concern is that they might protrude too low out of the bumper

Not the best picture, but you can see on my truck. I did the BL after I cut my stock bumper, so the slots were 2" too long. The recovery points were lower in the bumper, but I never thought it looked bad

Thanks for the visual. Unfortunately that's the best I can do for you at this point in time. I don't have a body lifted truck on the property. I know aesthetics can be/are important and we try to be very mindful of making products that do not feel out of place. And we are doing out best to make these recovery points fit the aesthetic of the truck and while filling the original premise of being frugal option to add a super functional accessory.

That said, we have some pics of our recovery points back from powder.

Rob, you're the man for providing an exact example. That's where I imagined it would come out, but honestly it doesn't look as bad as I was thinking it would in my head.

P&P, I appreciate and definitely see your counter-point. It's a very cost effective option to a functional mod

Got mine yesterday and went ahead and installed them! I messed up one of my cutouts but other than that, no problems! Great product and fast shipping!

Got mine the other day unfortunately my template is not there so I'll just have to wing it. If I was y'all I would just make the templet a printable PDF file on the website incase some one loses there's or it's somehow forgotten to make it's way to the box or whatever reason. Just my 2 cents though I'll get them installed when I get the time

I apologize for this.

A PDF file on our website is what we planned. I expected it to be posted by now.

Ill check with my web guy and see where he's at on this.

I have the dimensions I used on my install written on the whiteboard in the shop. I will post them when I get back.

My install is opposite of what 02xterra posted. We mounted them on the outside of the frame rail so they would not interfere with a hitch/hitch bolts.

This! Oh man! If you all make some 2nd gen ones that . . wait a second, why would they be different from 1st to 2nd? Maybe the holes?

Ahh. I thought yours looked closer to the outside of the bumper. I ditched the hitch to gain ground clearance.. got real tired of dragging that damn thing over rocks lol

Mine just arrived from P&P. Now if only my body lift was ready so I can install them, and not end up with elongated holes in me bumper.... Thanks guys! Will post pics once they are finally on post BL sometime.

Us too.

You know how much space 3/4" x 3" x 20' strip takes up?

(about 540 cubic inches if you want to be a smart ass!)

3/4" = 0.75

3" = 3

20' = 20 * 12 = 240

240 * 3 * 0.75 = 540 "^3

Yes...Yes I like to be a smart as...better a smart ass than a dumb ass :)

I'm out of beer!!! why else am I on XN doing math at this hour?!

Glad you guys made this product...ever since I hand drilled and designed these SOBs I've been waiting for someone to measure and make them for the Xterra Nation and Beyond....because I certainly wasn't going to hand drill another set of these! Such a great bolt on mod
