Project Idea?

Hey, I'm new here, I just got an 03 Xterra SE. I've had it less than a week and I already love it. I've been looking around for little th ha I can do to make it my own and I see pictures of a lid for the basket in the front of the roof rack. It looks like it's for 2012 or newer (I could be wrong). Does anyone know if you can get this for the first gen? If not, has anyone made one or have any ideas how to? Thanks in advance!

Lidded basket is a 2nd Gen item. Unfortunately the racks are different widths between gens. If you do figure out a way to lid it up, do share with the rest of the class

Copy that. If I find a way to make it happen I'll gladly share. I'm going to start designing it. Would welcome any suggestions of what you guys would like to see in it. Lockable? Struts? Fully sealed water tight drop in or just a lid of the basket? I'll be using mine to store ropes and rigging equipment. Don't know about you guys.

Drew has an atv tool box in place of his fits nicely and locks and all that
