So, I had trouble finding information about this when I went to upgrade I figured I'd share my knowledge I learned.
So the 2000 Nissan Quest. Has the same 3.3L I have in my 2000 Xterra.
2000 Xterra Alternator = 80 Amps
2000 Quest Alternator = 125 Amps
The alternators are relitivly the same besides a few differences. The plug is in different spots, the pulleys are slightly bigger, and the mounts are a little different.
Other than that is is a perfect bolt on upgrade. Just need a slightly longer bolt for the front hole. (I had one lying around so I didnt get the specs on it) and the belt is going to be a little tighter with the Quest alternator because it does have a bigger pulley. You could swap the pulleys but I hear that it kills the performance of the alternator.
And there you have it, not much to it. Pretty easy upgrade
