The new sliders will be Boulder Ironworx and the Gobi stealth will be replaced with an aluminum rack from Boulder Ironworx/InSain Fab. The roof may be naked for a bit while the rack is built - Fauss-style. I am asking for some customization like low profile, specific light bar tabs, etc. It's gonna be sweet! And light weight!

I'm not sure if I do keep the old stuff. I hope at least the front bumper because it will be a long time before a new one is ready!

hey just fyi for the next two weeks hardcore offroad is selling sliders for $250 ready for install and front bumpers for $700 that includes winch mount, scorpion liner and skid plate. they're already ready so you can have them by this month.

X is almost finished. Paint is done. Reinstalling doors, air bags, etc today and Monday. Should go to detailing, buffing, etc Monday and be ready Monday or Tuesday. The roof will be naked and I will be taking it over to Boulder Ironworx/ InSain Fab to work on the new roof rack.
I can't wait to have it back!

Thanks, Ramiro! This shop and my insurance company have been outstanding. They would rather have me leave 100% satisfied than have me come back and they also keep telling me if anything isn't right to bring it back. I don't even have it back yet!

So who is your insurance company. You might convince some people to switch even if it is a little more!! I can't wait to see the end results. Are you going with the same color?

Uh, yeah, this! Farm Bureau would laugh at me if I came to them with that claim.

State Farm. I spoke with them about insuring my mods prior to build and they are covered in my plan. I did not have to get additional coverage. Clearly it was worth it for me.

Yes, same color. Just the drivers side was damaged so only paint to there and half the roof is in the claim.

The X is finally ready at the body shop. Going to pick it up Monday and will post a few pics. Then it goes to Boulder Ironworx/ InSain fab for a few days for roof rack and sliders. I'm going to go with a 40" LED light bar on the rack while I am at it.
I have some other plans for it now that it isn't so new and unscathed. :rawr:

It's going back to the shop Monday. The channel that runs down the drivers side of the roof is jacked. The sealant didn't cure before they painted and it is soft, rippled and bubbly. They are going to have to redo it and repaint. A few other issues to button up, too. Probably be another week or two without the X. :-(
