I need to thank Boulder Nissan for absolutely and literally bending over backwards for me. Their staff, customer service and service is second to none. I've heard nothing but praise and now I know why. I am now a loyal customer.
Thanks, Bill for hooking me up with them.
There are some good ones...Town Center Nissan in GA has always done right by me.

Ah yes, the elusive Xterra Swap mod, very ninja. And yes, the Boulder Nissan crew are bad azz mothers! Went wheeling with them last week (unfortunately left before Bill busted up his bumper in the Quarry though).

It was all your fault, you know . . . ;)

Speaking of which, I spotted Brick today on the way home from work. Looks like the new owner works just around the corner from me, might have to stop in and convince him to come hang out with us :).

You should definitely introduce yourself. I hope he knows what he has! I suspect he probably does.

The ultimate 2nd gen swap/mod!

After looking into regearing, lockers, t-swap and all associated costs I figured out it was less to get most of those things in a brand new X. It is also a good base - M226, 3.69 gears, manual, etc to build on down the road opposed to throwing more money at the '05.

1st thing 1st - wheel it today! Went to Webster Pass/Red Cone today. It took me the first few obstacles/steep hills to get comfortable with the manual but at the end of the day I love it!

Glad youre liking it. I'm all about the manual too, once you get used to starting on the trail its not bad (though always found it strange that Nissan does not include hill start assist on the manual X).

I have the clutch cancel which is like a hill assist. Left foot on the brake, right on the gas. Start it and go. I proudly did not use it today.
