Mount an air compressor and tow/snatch strap :p

Yes definitely a compressor on the wood shelf.. that was the plan.

I have a tow strap under the back seat..

I'm thinking a SOG mini shovel somewhere too. I'd also like to have some shotgun shells attached to the center piece under the gun.

what about mounting a small ammo can under one of the sides by the window, provides a bit of concealment for the ammo/ what every else you want to throw in there

Depending on your thought on board air you could mount a tank and send a line out back to plug a hose into. Also something I'm gonna do is a power inverter.

Yeah I do think something back there for concealing ammo would be good.

you have inspired me to make a rear cargo rack. how much tubing did you use (feet) wondering how much i should buy. looks badass by the way

Awesome thanks!

I bought 4 10ft sticks of it.. I still have about 6ft leftover.

1" gas pipe tubing from home depot... it's an interior rack.. no need for expensive DOM tubing unless you want to have bends. They are like $10 for a 10' stick.. cheap, strong and easy to weld. Gas pipe is pretty thick.. thicker than regular steel tube and easier to work with IMO. 1" Steel tubing is thin and easy to burn through... the thick gas pipe is easier to work with and stout.

Well it's easier to weld... not as easy to cut. I'll take thick and hard to cut over thin and easy to burn

Oh yeah I'm gonna change up the color scheme. I'm thinking of trying out plastidip on it. I'll probably match it with the Xterra. I'm gonna do a new plastidip graphic on the Xterra as well

I see his brother painting a bad a$$ stormtrooper paint job... just saying ;)

That's a sweet bike. I love the look of sport bikes but not too fond of the riding position.

NICE!! I just got another bike to tinker with. its an 81 Suzuki GS450. Doesn't need nearly as much work as my previous bike did. Maybe when I get to the point of painting, I might send it off to your brother so he can work some magic!

I would fear that the high visibility of the AR would make it a theft taget. I would restow it so it does not scream 'come and get it'. Looking good!:sure:

I'm not keeping it there.. I just put it there for the pic. I will only have it there when I'm going to shoot it...

I have to drive on base everyday anyways.. the guards would not be happy.

Sold the camper I built today for $3000 plus a Colt M4 Carbine 223/556 Nato. I made my money back plus a grand in profit and the AR of course. Now I have my garage back and no more projects. Oh and I sold another bike and made $800 on it. I've finally achieved a positive net worth and zero debt. Not a single dollar to anyone... fu*k yes

Did you ever finish the camper I know I never saw any updates on the build?

Yeah.. I didn't do the roof rack or the solar panels. Just made it ready to camp in. I wanted it out of my garage.

Do you have any finished pics of it? I am building one and was looking at your build for inspiration.

Pretty nice little unit man, IDK about the glass door on the inside, we had a trail rut break a side window in my buddies trailer while we were out hunting, but still cool, perfect for a couple or single guy

Great built, nice speaker setup and a gun to boot, what else does a guy need. A gun in the back in plain old view sure don't see that in my part of the country. Only in the US! Brings back memories when I was a kid growing up in central Canada on the farm.

Re-worked the front grill a bit and welded the side fins on the bumper. Also cleaned up this thread a bit...

It's solid and it's been that way for several months now... it doesn't kill airflow. The tube bumper is still very open for air. I have no overheating issues but If I start i'll drill some holes

That is going to be detrimental to your engine. You just blocked well over 50% of your air flow to your radiator. I can not see how this will not result in overheating.

I promise it's not overheating... I know my temp gauge is working... I live in a cooler climate in the Northwest.. I rarely drive it...

I've had it like this for several months now and it hasn't been an issue.. if it was I have no problems making holes... My tube bumper lets a lot of air in..

I'm moving back to Colorado in a couple months and towing my trailer and bike. It's a 2 day drive in July... That'll be a test..
