According to my bank, the value of my house has dropped 38% since November. Maybe things are beginning to turn around a little. I know car prices are dropping.

my plan was to improve credit score by buying and paying off things like trailer and mustang, maybe here in about 4 years it'll be a golden opportunity, fingers crossed

My Great Uncle once said "the best day of his life was when they pulled his last natural tooth."
A word of caution. I had a tooth in the top of my mouth pulled last January. It had a sinus communication meaning the root of the tooth was inside my sinus cavity and when it was pulled there was no longer bone between my mouth and the sinus. All seemed fine as my dentist was just watching it and checking on the slow growth it was making. The beginning of March I had a cold and something between the sinus pressure, sneezing, and blowing my nose blew my sinus membrane through that hole into my mouth. Its had to be drained and hurt like hell. Was put on a 2 week long regimen of amoxicilin and had surgery where he cut a huge chuck of flesh off the roof of my mouth and graphed it over the hole.

Since I'm on blood pressure meds that hole bled for 23 hours. My stomach filled with blood and when it finally started to clot I would wake up gaging cause the clot was half way down my throat. This caused my to puke. Which by the way when you injest blood for hours on end everything that comes out of both ends is tar black and also is the single worst tasting vomit I have ever had.

Moral of the story, before you get a tooth pulled in the top of your mouth make sure they check to see if there's a sinus communication.

Worst recovery from anything I have ever had done.

I might need to buy a Bendpak QuickJack. For working on the Mustang....and it WOULD lift the truck. I don't know how far (if at all) the tires would get off the ground.
Same here. Getting too damn old to pump jacks

Wish I’d known that before they pulled that bad top molar two weeks ago. Did they at least give you good painkillers?

It's a safety thing too. I'm gonna be working on the Mustang. It's going to be in the air for a lot of what needs doing. But when I'm done for the day I can put it back on the wheels instead of jackstands and wood blocks. With kids and shiat getting stuff out of the garage I'll sleep better knowing that they can't bump it into problems.

The pain was manageable. The issue was I was going though 6-8 gauze wads an hour because I was bleeding so much and when it finally started to clot it took forever for a clot to stick because it was in the mouth so I was either choking on a clot and waking up or spitting out clots so I hardly slept for 24 hours.

Blame the corporate overlords, and the money whores they buy for us to elect to office. Current (2022 Numbers) CEO to worker pay ratio is 344:1. or another way to look at it.... CEO pay increased1,209.2% since 1978 compared with a 15.3% rise in typical workers’ pay. If minimum wage had kept up with productivity since it was instituted, it would be almost $24 an hour. The only people our version of Capitalism works for is the 1%, the rest of us get ufcked. Tax the rich like they were in the 1970's, and regulate the pay standards for all of us, and we might have a chance. Nowhere in the world is the overall disparity of wages as unbalanced as it is here.

If you saved $10,000.00 every single day for 52,000 years, you still wouldn't have as much money as Elon Musk. So don't tell me he and every other Billionaire out there can't pay. ufck those assholes. Trickle down economics hasn't EVER worked... it's their word for suckering everyone into thinking they'll help the little guy. News flash, they won't.

While nothing you said is wrong you also left out the vast majority of the poor and poverty level people in the US live lives thousands of time better than pretty much every other country in the world. There is no place where a family at the poverty level can get weeks worth of groceries for free get in there 20,000 dollar SUV, phone a friend on their free phone and go home and watch IPTV for free on their 70 inch UHD TV

While that may be true (although we aren't talking about 1st world countries at this point), we once again need to look at the reason those people are having to live at the poverty level. For instance Walmart (the poster child) and many other mega corporations who refuse to pay employees a living wage, while those same employees need welfare. It all goes back to Corporate profits, and Corporate welfare. Tax dollars feeding families that work 2 or even more jobs, while the Corporations rake in record profits, make massive stock buy backs, and pay shareholders huge dividends, all while claiming inflation is the issue. It's all Bullshiat. It happens time and time again.

Pay people a living wage for showing up and working, and then we won't have to hand out tax dollars to feed them.

Growing up, my home town had over a dozen factory/manufacturing plants in it. Folgers, LOF, TI, John Mansville, MEMC, just a ton. Everyone knew if college wasnt your thing, you could go to any one of those plants, walk in and get a good paying middle class, blue collar job. And hundreds did, my dad included. Now we have three, they barely pay a living wage, and most of the other "manufacturing" jobs have gone over seas.

you want to grow your economy? Grow the middle class. THOSE are the guys buying trucks and big screen TVs and shiat like that. Not elon musk.

I do agree that as CEO or "the boss" your salary should be larger. You took all the risk. I get that. But your people, who work for you, make that possible. Pay an actual living wage. Minimum wage jobs such as burger flipping, are not supposed to be a career.

Agree 100% there are jobs that are not supposed to be career jons and can not sustain paying a living wage. Manufacturing is a career and should pay a living wage. A burger jockey at Mcd's ia a high school level job you should not be working it for more than a few years.
