Im glad you took over. Ive seen too many forums I really enjoy just absolutely collapse and the people/personalities that made it great just disappear. Ive never actually made it over to TNX

You don't really have a reason to. Because 1st gen. That's the number one thing I don't like about TNX. It treats the 1st gen like a red headed step child. Relegated to another website entirely. It discourages the social aspect when half of the people involved are on a completely different domain.

Yeah, I dont understand that. I mean I get it, since Xterras arent being made, as they get older and older, people are going to drift away from them into other things and your population dwindles. Why cut it in half to begin with?

This. 1st and 2nd gen in my household. Splitting forums based on gens doesn't make sense.

It really doesn't. It's essentially segregation. And it feels that way too. "oh, you drive a 1st gen? Yeah, your spot is over there... We don't serve your kind here."

I hate having to sign for things. I work when fedex works. saturday deliver is $$.

in my VW forum, most of the smartest people are not the people who drive the newest models. They are keeping the older models on the road with less support.

i've been the same way. "seasonal affective disorder". mine could also be stress but i think the change in seasons and sun setting earlier has a lot to do with it. not gettin that vitamin D baby.

So we're clear; I'm not using that designation to describe XN. What I mean by that is XN is much more relaxed and firmly opposes any sort of bashing and flaming. For some folks who like to troll, it comes off as a care-bear environment.

Edit: a couple of folks that I have met IRL from TNX described XN as being "too filtered and kiddish."
