Not sure what to think of that beer. Maple pecan beer??? Sound like it would either be really nasty or really damn good no in-between with that combo
It’s a very sweet beer. Definately not a sit on the couch and drink 4-5 of them type of beer.
It needs to be paired with a good meal. Unfortunately too sweet for me and will not be buying again.

I. Want. That!
It's been snowing here since Thursday night. I think we're up to about 6in now.

On a happy note, this is the first weekend I've been able to spend with my wife and kid since early December. I'm SO happy to be done with the old job, and starting a new one.

75k/yr means building the X will resume in earnest! First task is fixing the colorado though.

Buying a smoke tester as I have to track down a vacuum leak, then pull the steering rack.

I also need a new center link for the X. I really want the Grassroots link. I'm just not sure what else I'd need to purchase to complete the swap.

Over the past 3 month's I've only hit the liquor once but every time I'm in the basement and happen to glance at the bottle's [ I have a BAR in the basement ] theirs's less and less and less in each one  Now the ole lady and daughter are light weight's ; one glass of wine or one margarita and instant stupidity. So I can rule them out . Since the cat's don't have opposable thumb's , I can rule them out also ! Could it be evaporation  If the Concord was still making a West coast to East coast run I would be certain it was CHUG and ZACK using their master key to the liquor cabinet ; Until................... I finally caught the person responsible !! It also explains why the floor was sticky around the end of the bar ;)

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ I've scooped up a 4 gallon wash bucket and a small bedroom sized trash can of salt of the road so far this year . It was in 2 pile's in the street. Pretty soon the Chesapeake will be known as The Great Salt Bay !!!

Morning

they salt the roads so much here. It’s ridiculous. I I’ve never washed a vehicle this much during the winter months. Trying to preserve from rusting away while I am still making payments. But when the temp is -20 and below. Washing a vehicle is not fun.

Maillet.................how you been ? reno looked good !! If u got a pressure washer check out Kohree undercarriage pressure washer cleaner on Amazon . I used a buddy's carriage cleaner that had the smaller wheel's on his gravel driveway and the pressure just made the small wheel's hard to control and bury in the gravel . I'm buying this and leaving at his house .

Been doing good how about you Crabby

thanks. We are expecting the counter tops to be installed this week at some point so definitely ely looking forward to having a functional sink in the kitchen again.
The new stove is in and ready for pick up ( actually going in the next 15 minutes to go pick it up). But unfortunately the dishwasher is back ordered until March.
But with at least a functional sink we don’t need to do dishes in the bathtub anymore

I do have a pressure washer and will be looking Into the sprayer attachment. But it’s still just too cold right now to use it

Here's today's salt count .View attachment 16785
this is parked in front of the house .

Holy shiat! That's a lotta salt.

They mostly brine here. No actual sand/salt mix except on the interstates. They do a lot more sand/salt up the mountain tho. The sun is so damn hot here that the pavement usually clears itself in a day. Two or three if we get heavy snow.

We are supposed to be getting a snow storm tomorrow, they started putting out warnings Friday about it. They are saying anywhere from 6 to 18 inches of snow then supposed to get another one later in the week.

Finally got the damn bolts out. Still radio silence from Baja since they said they’d warranty them. I used a dremel cutting wheel to cut one to 8mm and get a wrench on it. The other I flattened the sides and used the drill to grab it.

As Baja suspected, clearly the wrong hardware. 7F4CB1EA-1B57-4054-9AE8-98B41CCBB5B0.jpeg

I'm thinking about getting back in an xterra. I want to find a first gen that has already been SASed. Will probably never find one though.
