Hey guys.
This will be my build thread. Its in the development phase yet but stay tuned.
I don't have a good before shot but we all know what a stock white 2004 Xterra looks like.
Sagged out, neglected torsion bars.
Mud flaps that drag on the ground for tires that can't go in mud.
Side steps that you have to side step as you sit down into a stock height X.
...and a whole lot of grey, white and black.
I decided to call her the XT302 because I have a bit of geek in me.
as she stands now...
As you can see ....serious HP upgrade.
That sucker must be worth at least a good 20hp at wide open throttle.
Also did away with the mud flaps, side steps and some of the factory stickers that were robbing hp.
I left the supercharged sticker in place thinking it would just get covered up by the vynil but instead the it shows through in some lights. Giving it an embossed effect which I just love.
I tweaked up the torsion bars adding about 1" to level it out for now. I'm guessing they were pretty sagged out...no alignment required. Infact castor and cornering improved noticabley.
Teaser photo for coming mods....
Thanks for checking out my X!
