Yeah, I am, but I dont know if I could wait that long.. When I want something on the X, it needs to be on the X... Ahaha. :D

Unless you're totally opposed to shipping, then I can deal. :'(

Woooo front tube bumper! DO IT!

Before you make the move, do you ever plan to get a winch? And make sure there are front recovery points on it if you are taking your current ones off.

Also, I learned this the hard way, when the bumper is welded together and connects to your front frame area, make sure the fab guys/gals make it EXTRA strong. When I got winched out last week, my bumper bent forward smashing the fender wings in to my fenders = wooo dents!

I don't plan on a winch because eventually I want to turn the x into a trophy truck/prerunner style thing with the long arm suspension and all so once that happens no more mud or rocks haha :D

I was trying to order some LED tail lights for cheap from a sketchy chineese company. Gave up on it now after 30 emails asking the sake questions and receiving no direct answers. I'll just have to pay the regular price I guess. :)

I have the design all finalized and the money all scraped together just need to find a time where I'll be able to leave the truck at the shop for a few days. I have been in Colorado for 2 weeks unexpectedly was only supposed to be here for 3 days. And when I get back probably won't free up until early September so my guess is sometime around the fifth of September I will drop it off for the build and install. :)

ok so now we can talk. what kit you going with? extended arms? tube boxed? what you plan on doing with the rear? deavers flip shackle? 3 or 4 link? TALK!

couple things wrong with the rear end in x's for long travel but it can be done i had this conversation with a guy who long travel's broncos and other trucks. should make a thread for long travel x's

Hahaha well alrighty :).

The rear I am pretty set on a 3 link set up (because I have a buddy who I might be able to score it from for freeeee)

But the front I am unsure, ideas? I am not not sure even if I should go for the preassembled kit or piece together my own.

Well got a new cb and got it all SWR'd up



As far as the bumper and BL those most likely won't be happening until after nXm.....

I was also fired or "let go" today so after nXm and the bumper stuff mods will be at a halt for a bit.

But on the bright side I have all the money and my priorities in order for nXm (with some help) I also can hang around for a bit on Sunday now since my schedule has opened up :)

By net about the job man... I love my midland cd in my wife's Xterra. It's very loud and I like the idea that it can be portable

build looks great! you've given me some ideas, where did you buy those clevis mounts? do you have them mounted anywhere yet?

The Clevis mounts I bought from 4 wheel parts. But It didn't even click that they were made out of cass and wouldn't hold a weld so the ones I have now are custom.

I was thinking about trying to find a way to mount them on the frame in the rear but since they are bolt on it is a little tricky.
