well... since im part time at work balancing payments for auto tech training, the only this i can see happening the soonest is a magnaflow super 40 and taking out those air resonator thingys that come off the air intake.

but even before that i can buy that $15 hatch jam mount for my CB whip. last weekend i went to a pawn shop and bought a uniden pc68xl cb with 3 foot whip and cord for $35 bucks! i feel like i stole it from em. lol!

its was, but i still dont know why i didnt break my passenger side tie rod after i got bucked off a rock and slamed on the side of a mud hole. i wish i got a vid of it. lol

happy new year everyone!
this update doesnt have have anything special on it but its more of a heads up

santa was nice enough to give me tail light guards witch were actually kind of a pain in the @$$ because having to bend the mount to fit around the the lights.
the directions really did say i had to do that. i guess thats the price of free.

also i realized i never ever posted a pic of the CB i got for dirt cheap up.
well here it is. its held on my dash with 3M wall hanger tape. it really does the job of holding the radio down, it was even trail tested and badlands a few months back

and on a final note my birthday is the 22nd so here is a list of what could come next.

super 44 muffler- almost certain.
HD tie rod adjusters- up in the air.
IAB- up in the air as well.

I had mine stuck to the bottom of my CD player/stereo and the first hot summer day, it fell. Between the heat from my stereo and the heat of the day, it just let loose.

well i got 6 of those things holding it on for now, but i will try to find a mount before the IL mid summer heat rolls in.

i had a day early birthday celebration with the family because this semester of Auto Tech school is at night at starts tomorrow, the day of my birthday.
i got a Super 44 muffler for the X i cant really say when it will be put on but hopefully soon. im so happy!

not yet, and shame on me for not calling my mentors shop today to find out when.
all i did to the OP was the update pic. did you see a pic of my X with snow on it?

MUFFLER UPDATE!

so today i went to my mentors shop and got a quote and time for the install. he has a good $85 an hour shop rate but since the only thing he would have to do is add pipe to fill in the gap since the super 44 is like 1/3 the size of the OEM Cali muffler, it shouldnt be too long. as for the date... just about anytime next week he will have open spots in the shop. and a really cool thing he is doing for me is not charging for materials. woo!

While the muffler is being installed have him cut the tail pipe down. Stock it hangs back aways I smashed mine on the rock nearly clamping it off. Just trim it so if a rock pushes it the pipe slides behind the bumper rather then crushing between the bumper. Otherwise a sawsall can take care of it later.
