If the hi-lift simply mounted on the other side, I think it would clear when open at least?

As is, if you add an extension bar to the existing upper hi-lift mounting point, to make a new hole appear a few inches away for the hi-lift's standard to be secured, you could make the standard align more vertically and clear that way as well, etc.

That's actually exactly what I was thinking of doing TJ. Just get a hunk of steel and drill some holes in it. The only thing is the bolt where the base of the hi-lift mounts is pretty short. And I don't know if I made the angle more vertical that I wouldn't be able to get a nut on there..

I'm just gonna have to get back there and play with it and see what'll work. I believe I will be able to make it happen somehow haha

Just curious why the 60" Hi-Lift was chosen.

Getting that jack to fit would take some reworking. Because of the latch location, you can't push it any further toward the end of the swing-away.

Agreed. The 48" is PLENTY.

See, I wasn't sure exactly which one to get so I posted on the Xterra Off Road facebook group and asked them. I have plans to go SAS one day and figured I might as well go ahead and get what I will need for that and get the 60" and (I thought at the time) it wouldn't hurt anything. Plus it was only like 2 bucks more.

Like I said, I think I'll be able to make it work. I'll just have to see.

Also, TWSS.

TWSS?? :confuseded:

Don't cut the hi lift. if your doing a sas one day keep long. I have a 48" long lift and when I go to use it in the front it only has 6" left over and I have not even started to lift the truck. :( To lift my bumper in the front I have been adding a cinder block under the jack for the extra height. Basically keep it long. If not want to trade?

Not sure why one of the LED blocks looks darker than the others but you can tell by the other pictures that it's not..

I have the license plate mounted. I'm not planning on driving anywhere tonight so I'm gonna save the wiring for tomorrow. I believe what I have so far will not be enough for light but I have something else on the way and it'll be perfect!

Teaser shots. Better ones coming tomorrow!

Taking the rack to Asheville tomorrow to have it powercoated. Once it's back I'll be able to get the LED on!

But yes, I'm shamefully riding around topless for the moment...
