Nah nothing rubbed. And I even had the wheels turned a bit, as you could see. Nothing has ever been trimmed in the rear. I need to find a better flex spot to see if/when it'll rub.

Whoa. I just did the same thing. I need to stay in the loop...what's bigger than Beast Mode? Because that's what this was BEFORE you went all SAS on us...

Did you just get sick of snapping tie rods, or what? ;)

Goodies from Creepy! I have the little handle for the door I just haven't put it on yet haha. Love the new rack decal.

Picked these up for the power to the switches!

Can these also be used to clean up the grounding of all the switches? It says it's rated at 20A... I don't know if these will be heavy enough to carry the ground or how that works honestly.

Right on! That's close to what I'be got. I'm running those same gears wit 35s and it's really not that bad. I'm sure 5:13s would be better but the 4.9s work!

Hows that on the hills and while crawling? When I had mine mapped out, I wasn't positive on the gearing until I found one pre-geared.

While driving, it's really not bad at all. I'm not a fast driver anyway. I haven't had a chance to go crawling yet (I know, I know :( starting classes at a university has kicked my butt haha). We happened upon the axle with gears, locker, and everything I needed the way it was. 5.13s was the plan but so far, I'm happy with the 4.9s.

I need to see this thing, too bad I wont be at WENT.

I'm sure there'll be a URE run I can make sometime soon!

That was the downfall of the Xterra. They started catering to the soccer moms instead of doing a true competitor of the Wrangler.

There's not really many good competitors of the Wranger. If Nissan wanted to dedicate the X to that, I believe they could have had a winner, with enough persistence. From there, let the chips fall where they may.

I still love my xterra and especially more so now that I'm SAS'd and I will never ever sell it.

I tried talking the wife into the sas back a few months ago and sh shot me down. I could probably squeeze out the money for some leaf sprung setup for the front like luke did, but i would rather be coil sprung....but repair jobs on this ifs set seem to come with every trip anymore, and then the hubs breaking all the bolts just about made me want to sell it, or strip it all down and do crazy things.

Do what I did. I pieced my SAS together over time making it easier to swallow the money. Plus if you can weld I have seen 3 link kits for like $400-$500. I'm not much of a welder so that's a big reason I didn't go that route myself.

Here's a stupid little video I made testing out the new SAS and lockers. The camera angle kinda sucks but mainly I was just practicing my editing. If you're bored and have nothing better to do.. check it out!

Pretty sweet video if you ask me! The X is looking sharp.

The only thing that would have made this video better is playing "The Climb" when trying to get back in. I will say that part was hilarious though haha.
