at least senior year at GM is easy! If you're up to par on credits you need english and economics and the rest is just electives and BS. That's why I have so much time to break windows with bumpers and such.

My Co-pilot... She keeps the trips fun. We stop at anything that interest her on the trail. We have been wheeling together for 11 years. The only regret was leaving her home a time or two.

Any reason you went steel cable with roller fairlead over synthetic with alum fairlead?

Sent from space and stuff

Steel Cable/Fairlead is free... It will get a couple good pulls or a season of wheeling. The cable will then be thrown in the recycle pile.

Its interesting to note that the picture you show is the same year and color as mine EXCEPT that your front grill is totally different than mine. Are there US and Canadian versions being built differently? Nice looking truck.

No.. The front (well.. Every part of this truck should fall in this category) has had some serious work done. That's a 1.5 Gen hood with some custom work to make it look stock.

I took a junk yard hood from a round headlight 03... then cut the parts of my stock hood to make the new hood work.

The grill is from a Frontier... with the fins gutted out and a new "Xterra" type background stuck back in.

That bumper looks sweet! I know what I am going to build this spring :) I like it because its nice and tight and close to the truck. The picture looks like a Frontier?? It has wheel fenders that you don't see on an xterra.

Thats the Boulder Nissan Frontier that they build, same style bumper though.

If that bumper ever decided to go into limited production, I'm sure you'd do pretty well. Just saying. I'm in the state under you. I'd buy it. I love it.

I hate building bumpers, mainly because it takes a ton of time.

Shortened frame horns..

Winch plate welded directly to frame.

The winch will not pull the bumper forward with welded to frame design.

Bumper mounting holes on side of plate.

Mocking up the winch on the BN Frontier. Funny, both these rigs still had ifs....

Well the hi-flow cats did not make it through emissions... So time to make the stock units work if possible.

This is not a discussion on how to weld to cast ... or what size of exhaust folks think they need.

I am just trying to get the OEM cats to pass the test with my aftermarket exhaust system.

We will see how long this rig-a-ma-role lasts...

These two idlers were about 50% of the noise going on up front. I totally recommend replacing them.. wow, what a difference.

Did you order Nissan parts or just pick them up at a local parts store? One of mine is making some noise.. I just haven't gotten around to replacing it

What did they say was wrong? Did it just not pass a sniffer or was there a physical reason?

Sniffer... I am curious how oem cats will do now that they will breath better. These and a nice healthy dose of denatured alcohol should make it pass.
