The 55 " goes from the back rack mounts to the back part of the front OEM basket... The 84" is almost the full length of the rack... On a second gen..to See my 55' awning check my built thread or my FB..

I don't know if I want an awning like this....I might just make one that doesn't roll up out of poles, a tarp and hose clamps. But if I did get one it'd be the 83" that covers the entire length of the rack

I believe it comes with mounts for the dephep. Stolen from Dan's build thread.
It also comes with these mounts that mount really nicely to the Dephep Rack

Those L brackets are the mounting brackets that come with the awning... It just so happens that they work perfectly with the Dephep mounting bolts... You just need to drill out the holes to the larger bolt size.
