Looks good mac! I just bought a tool bag and bungeed it to the back of the back seat. I like the tool box idea though. As for the axe I just slipped mine under the straps for the first aid kit on the rear hatch.

Sent from over there...

Love the pics with the 3 black X's in the driveway. That'd be sick if you all had umbrella corp decals on it lol It'd be like Umbrella corp response team. Love your truck man

Thanks man! Yeah, I'm gonna have to get some more people to roll with the umbrella decal.

Still need to drill out the mount holes for the awning. Just had our latest baby so that'll probably keep this from happening til summer.

Congrats on the latest addition to your family Mac! I was wondering why you hadn't been around as much lol.

Haha thanks man. Yeah it's been a whirlwind the past week. Last night we finally got a little sleep so I've actually felt like getting on the forum. Plus things have calmed down enough for a little down time.

Well for my birthday I decided to get my iron man awning mounted. By the time I got to it and got it mounted it had got windy so I decided not to set it up til tomorrow.

Luckily it fits through my garage.

I want one.......needed more money

I finally took pay pal up on their bill me later deal because this was such a good deal. It saved me an extra $10 too. Then I took my "mod cash" and paid it off over the past few months to avoid interest.

By brother in law is doing the bill me later thing with an outfitter tent from these guys.

I'm planning on getting this one, hopefully next year.

I've heard great thing about these tents as they are true 4 season larger tents. I've also hear this type of tent is not a put up and take down type. You put it up and leave it up for a while.

Agreed, that's the nice thing about canvas tents...

Both of my brother in laws have these tents so I'll probably go with it based on their recommendation. They have said many good things about staying warm inside and with the Colorado camping I intend to do that's what I'll need at night with kids. I hate camping near where I live so this will probably get used once a year or so and I hope that because of that I will be able to make it last a lifetime. I grew up camping once every other year and I intend to do at least that if not every year. We typically camp in one spot for a whole week so even if it takes an hour to set up and toe to break down it will be worth the considerable improvement over the crappy quick set up tents available. I would like a small camper but that may be even more impractical for me. I say more impractical because I have never argued that my setup is practical haha.

Agreed Mac, I was merely pointing out the GP Medium and Large from surplus because they're pretty much the same thing as those, and a medium is enough for 10-12 cots down each side if memory serves correct, so, 16 man barracks style tent with some having the ability to house a wood stove (we just set up either a propane heater or built small campfires inside em to keep warm when necessary, vent em and they're awesome for a family with a ton of spare room, I think if a large didn't have vertical center poles you could use it as a portable shop style tent.

Medium is 10' tall at the ridge, 16' wide 32' long...

Here's a lot with one medium and 3 hex tents that's currently at $25...

Noticed you have Hella 500's.....how's the output on them? I bought a set a few months ago and been disappointed with the output.....
To he honest I've only used them a few times and even then it was really just for the sake of using them. I like the way they look on my bumper though haha! I rarely get out at night and even more rarely get to go wheeling so they will likely stay in great condition over the life of my truck.

And the output is exactly what is I'd expect out of that style of light.
