Welcome from upstate SC. There are some 2wd rigs on the forum, but it doesn't matter what type of X you have to us.

As far as TNX, I hate to say anything bad about that site because it got me into modding my X years ago and basically introduced me to off roading. But since, many of the knowledgable members have left and it can get real hostile over there.

You'll find plenty of friendly people here!

Yeah I love it over here. I will be using info from an old thread over there for my 4WD swap, but as far as the people man I just don't know. They were very unwelcoming.

XN can never compete with the years of info tnx has.. When we get awesome members like you guys it does help us build a great base of info..

If we get 30 tire size questions then so be it..
People tend to forget that everyone has to start somewhere and by asking it means the site helps noobs. Not everyone has the know how I. The forums..

I have noticed in the year or so since tnx was bought out it became the Wild West.. The people that own it now do not care about the xterra.. It's all ad dollars to them.. AG has 300 or more forums on the net.. It's money to them..

Either way I use tnx for info ..
But XN is my home ;)

TNX is great for info. I think a lot of us here got our start there. I still use it to learn. But XN has taught me a lot too.

I feel more welcome in the Nation. Especially being a 2wd. I know I'm not frowned upon for that here.

I agree with you especially about the 2WD. If that wasn't enough just the fact that 1st Gen and 2nd Gen are segregated over there sucks too. I have a 2nd Gen, but I have met a lot of cool people over here with 1st Gens that I never would have met over there. The Nation is just an all around better place to be. The knowledge base over here will catch up. Plus, nobody over here tries to talk like Popeye.

I used to get angry reading the posts on CX. Then I finally figured out I spent more time here anyway, so I stopped visiting.

Well you know I paid my money to be a supporting member over there at tnx and then the first time I posted any pics of my truck I got flamed and called a mall warrior. So, I have absolutely no love for them.

I had to go over and read it. The 1st gen's site basically died awhile ago, now it looks like the writings on the wall for the 2nd.

I say it's the Hummer owners attempt to corner the market!!! Xterra Owners Unite !!! on XterraNation of course.

Another "official" request. Everyone here is so friendly I feel like just being a member of XN makes us friends (which it does) and I forget that add friend thingy.

Man this is great.

This is why DRB and RATTFINK made the site. Too much crap on other boards. We've never had a problem over here. Our mods actually moderate and keep the peace, although 98% of the time it's peaceful, we DO sometimes disagree on things. Like I said, the only flamers we have here are homos, and most of us are pretty cool. ;)

I believe anybody who gives them both a try will end up happier here.

We might not be able to replicate the wealth of knowledge that has been poured into that site and others, however we can be accommodating and hope that they bring that knowledge with them. I know Dave would love to be the top site for when the Gen 3 drops, as TNX is (or seems like was) the site for Gen 2s, and CX was the site for Gen 1s. XN was designed to be the site for the Xterra, and heck, anything Nissan.

So wait, when I hit the lottery and make Nissan custom build me a monster of an offroad rig, can I have my own section on here?
