I have been wondering why more people do not use this instead of bed liner on the hoods.. If you dont like it.. Peel it off

It amazing stuff dont get me wrong I did my old wheels and my rear bumper with the stuff, but the only thing that's a pain with plasty dip is that once you get a scratch or a spot started it leaves a mark and the whole section starts to peel and leave an outline if you try to cover it up with more its just a pita some times.

Looks good Luke!!

Yes, the only reservation I have with the stuff is that it is easily scratched and can peel easy.

I used plasti-dip on all my emblems. Seems to be holding up well. I get mine at Lowe's also. I love the texture of the bed liner on my hood though and that's why I went that route. But this rig looks awesome with all that plasti-dip!! My wife didn't agree with the hood to start with but after showing her many examples she said do whatever makes me happy, now that it's done, she really likes it.

My wife said no on the bedliner and now no on this. I think this is something I may just go ahead and do and say whatever whatever I do what I want.

Mac.. Do a badge... needs about 4 good coats... dont event tape it off... Crazy I know... Then peel off what you do not want...

If you dont like it on the badge.. peel it off ;)

Yea, I'm debating on doing the rockers and maybe the hood. I really like what BoonDox did on his first X but I would stop at the plastic guard

^^That was my plan. I went to Wal-Mart fully intent on buying a can and they didn't have any. I think I'll see if one of the hardware stores or auto stores have it tomorrow.

I couldnt find it at walmart either, if it does scratch you can rub a little laquer thinner on it to smooth it out then toss another coat on it
