ive been to a couple of these around Chicago only because the girl i was seeing at the time was a bigger weeb than i am. the only two things that made it worth going to was Gundam and Initial D stuff. i also found out the Naruto has the most annoying fanbase in the history of anything.
i did have complete geek out when the woman cosplaying as Haman Karn from zeta and Double Zeta gundam hyjacked an unsed podium and gave a full pre-battle speech witch after words we all yelled "Zieg Zeon, Zieg Zeon, Zieg Zeon". Gundam is one a few series i hardcore fan boy over. like for real, ive never been more happy after something so stupid before in my life.

Started detailing the truck at 1230...finished at 530. Maybe buying an orbital buffer was the best worst decision ever. I did the entire truck with rubbing compound where I normally only do 1 spot. I no have regrets.

welp just got back from my full timing chain replacement on a 2nd gen. no one told me they had 3 lol.

well on the first few model years of 2nd gens, the plastic tensioners for the 2 secondary chains that mate the camshafts wears to nothing so at that point you might as well put new every thing since its gotta come out. ive seen a thread or too about it in the gen section.
