I need more fscks. I'm running dangerously low and don't have approval to flip off the mouse yet.

Happy Monday! I had a very productive weekend but had my first panic attack in several years last night. I couldn't sleep then when I did I woke up panicking. Not pleasant.

Well here's to another week. Hopefully it goes by fast.

incorrectness though.... ;)

as was previously discussed on BBM, #3 goes to A, F1 goes to black on winch, F2 goes to yellow on winch, A goes to red on winch, ground post on winch goes to neg on battery, + goes to + on battery, then if using a 3 wire remote like on the engo, the black wire goes to 1, white wire goes to 2, red wire goes to the + post on the contactor, OR, the red wire goes to a relay which you have tied to a "winch on/off" switch, then your black and white wires can be spliced in with ones going back to your dash for winch in/out (don't remove the cabled controller option in the event you're doing something at the winch itself, you don't want someone inside the truck pushing buttons while you're trying to properly wind the cable or anything like that)

Lol. Sure. When? What do you want to wire up? I'm about a month out from doing the bumper and all associated accouterments.

I want to do some replacments, so LED some of the stock stuff. But I really want to wire up some lights in the under the grill, and some alone the roof for camping needs. Those wont be LED though, I have them in a cart waiting to buy - I just have no clue how to do the wiring and such.

Everything must be LED. Jay doesn't wire anything but LED

Hence the title "Resident LED Nut-Job"?

Prime - I need to get all the relays and stuff, that is the thing I haven't figured out. I guess, imma PM you to get an idea of what I should show up to this future mod with.

one relay per function, that's what to remember. maybe we should start a thread on here for wiring help....(if there isn't one already) and remember, one should NEVER, EVER unnecessarily tap into the factory wiring harness...

I've got to agree however, why on earth are you *NOT* using LED's? after all, less battery draw for when you're in camp...
