Yeah, Wichita Falls is struggling with that becoming more of a reality and they are an hour and a half away from me. Their water restrictions are at the highest levels and they actually have an estimate of like ~150 or so days of water left unless they get rain or find another solution.
A lot of our farmers already raise dry land crops but we have an irrigation district here that has been getting their stuff disastered out every year for about 3 years. What sucks is that we have extreme drought, extreme heat, tornados, and now earthquakes. We've had so many earthquakes that people from across the country are coming here to research the cause. We live about 45 minutes away from the fault line that runs right down the middle of the state.
So yeah, Oklahoma has it all lol. But our state government doesn't suck!!

Haha, our state is bipolar. Luckily our earthquakes aren't California levels of magnitude, but the buildings here aren't built to withstand them. I'm just glad I have a storm shelter now. We went three years without one and every tornado watch my wife would be freaking out.

Thanks. It really wasn't that bad but being in a hotel with strangers made it different.....though a few of them had handheld HAMs.....so now I really want one.....thats how we found out what was currently happening.
