I've been going back and watching old movies. In the past few days I've watched Robocop, True Lies, the original Resident Evil movie, and I'm just getting warmed up.

i love me some og robocop. that just got added to the mix for the day.

and ive seen true lies more than any hooman on the planet. you know what holds up? die hard.

Jeeps are the worst. I don't get it. The people selling jeeps seem to think they're cast in gold or something. I bought my 92 YJ in 2002 for $5k. Today, that same truck with another 15 years and 100k miles would still be $5k. It makes no sense.

And they're now pieces of fiat shiat.

I get the appeal. Wheeling with the doors off was tits. That said, I couldn't do that with a new one. They're too nice on the inside. The jeep used to be a utilitarian thing that you didn't need carpets in, had power nothing, but was very capable. I can't deal with the new interior being so nice on the new ones.

i had a stock one wobble once on 31x10.50s. ufcking terrifying .

My business partner had an 06 Rubicon. 4.5" lift and 33s. The death wobble got so bad he had to get rid of it. You hit a bump on the interstate and you'd have to pull over and stop to keep from dying.

It needed some other work, too. If I had bedlined the interior and made it run a little better, I probably could have gotten more. That is also when I discovered Duratracs.
