Small update (updated post 1). Removed the grill guard and plastics, and I added additional HP. Added +1 Festivities:

Alrighty! Glad to see it done and CONGRATS!!
Now some 285's on that bad boy (or girl???

Hoping for some financial assistance on the 285s.

I should be getting rid of all that extra stuff on my truck in the coming weeks. I'm also about to load up on a 16hr round trip. I've put about 600 miles on the swap and its been relatively fine so far. I didn't put the 3* shims when installed the swap due to time constraints. Hopefully getting that done Saturday or I ain't goin nowheres.

Video dump (see post 1) with the month-overdue time lapse of the Titan Swap.

Also, started logging miles with Fuelly. Without the shims, I got about 16.5-17mpg highway. I managed 19.7 twice on my trip to south Georgia last week following the addition of some 3* shims, but couldn't keep it consistent.

I had to heatgun them pretty hot and place some blocks in there to hold it a while till they cooled to get them to hold shape.
So cool you've got this thing done!

I used a borrowed heat gun and some 2x4s. Its cold enough here that after I held the heated area for about 10-15sec, it cooled enough to stay... I just didnt do enough of it since I rushed it.

And I love your choice of tires/wheels too!! It's just amazing how the titan swap completely changes the entire look of the vehicle (besides ride & capability).

Then again, I may be slightly biased.

So I have about a month's worth of stuff to talk about.

First, I went ahead and did the Diff Locker Anytime Mod. It got used at Big Fork and assisted my failures.

Next, I went and got P&P Type II sliders. I really like them, but I have a complaint. The workmanship and fit is fine. The hardware is what I don't particularly like. Supplied were 4 bolts (and 4 more that were fine) that run on either side of the frame. For each of the bolts, there are 2 flat washers and a lock washer. For the life in me, I could not get all 3 washers onto each bolt. Attempting to would only allow for 2-3 threads to engage, which I was uncomfortable with. Yes, the mounting brackets/sleeves were full seated. I ended up not using the lock washers on 2 and subbed in Locktite instead. I still don't quite like that, but it will do.

And finally today: I had to go to the dealer to solve my 4LO light and lack of 4WD. I had the VDC and SLIP lights on and ai pulled 2 codes. Dealer said I had 16... SIXTEEN CODES. Long story short, I couldnt engage 4wd because I had two very nasty connections which shorted out 2 (fking expensive) relays. Got those replaced, cleared the codes, and BLAM, 4WD engaged. Also had the speed sensors replace. I had noticed that my power seemed to be lagging. In other words, I had a lot of pedal travel and a lot of time til I got up to speed. I had originally contributed that to my TS and 33s. Boy was I wrong. Got the truck back and now my skinny pedal is super touchy again. I miss that.
