I'm averaging about 13.49 with my 2000 4x4 on bald ass 31's. I've also gotten as low as 6mpg but that's because my foot becomes heavy sometimes :'( I get around 10-11 while wheeling in 4wd.

I average just under 15mpg. I guess if I did not idle at all - I could improve by 1mpg... I get remote diagnostic info (it's part of the solution we sell). A screen shot of the report is below. Sorry the column dot line up - I try to copy paste the whole report - that was worse

Typically 15-17 depending on how much highway. It should be noted that my right foot weighs about 90lbs. I got a huge boost in mpg's when I did the timing belt and full tune up. Went from 12 to 15 overnight.

before any mods i was getting around 11-12mpg. now after the 3" lift, bigger tires, stock intake mod and new flowmaster im averaging between 16-18mpg, which boggles my mind, but im happy!

After the lift, 33's and installing a transfer case, I went down to 15'ish. Now I'm back up to over 16mpg. Have to re-level the torsion bars, maybe replacing them because they've been adjusted now about 4 different times. I think I'm scooping air, causing a barn door effect.

I'm sure it'll drop again once I put the front diff in, that'll add some weight to the front end for sure.

Always a battle.

13.2 - 14 MPG average here.

I started using fuel.ly online to track mine. I don't know of anyone else here uses it or peoples thoughts on it.

The biggest mistake that most shops make when they do the timing belt is that they don't reset the timing after warmup, clean the MAF or reset the self learn.

If you do all those at the same time, you'll notice a definite change in your mpg's, especially at your lower altitude.

I tell you what. I'll do a DIY in the 1st Gen in a week or so. I have to get some magazine work done first.

Anyone know if this was done? Mr.Mut?!?!?!

I have been tracking mine for about 2 years. Before I got my 33's I was averaging about 15mpg, since I got the 33's doing the easy math shows about 13mpg, but calculating for the speedo being off means I am getting about 30 more miles per tank than my odometer shows, but still close enough to 13 to not worry about it. If my trip meter hits 200 miles before I need to stop and fill up its a miracle. I usually fill up at the first chance after I hit a 1/4 tank and show about 165 miles. The few times I have found non ethanol gas I am pushing closer to 200 at a 1/4 tank.

Granted most of this is city driving and only going about 10 miles or so at a time. When I hit the highway I can push to almost 15mpg

With my 32's, I was getting about 18-19mpg . Since the switch to 255's, I've been averaging about 17mpg per tank. Most of my traveling is longer distances, work is 30 miles one way.

I got 15.7 on the Prentice Cooper trip. That's including the drive down AND wheeling.

On the drive home, I got about 80mi to a quarter tank...how, I'll never know...but this is going to be a good week.

After switching to Castrol synblend I've been averaging 15.9ish, with a best of 16.2 at current mods. (2" BL, 3" SL, 31's)

Just started tracking mine:

Drove from Dearborn, MI to Louisville, KY - 260 miles from full to empty. 15.8 MPG
Drove from Louisville, KY to Dearborn, MI (with new bumpers put on) - 237 miles from full to empty. 14 MPG.

83% highway / 17% city.

...dang. 14 MPG on the highway.

In the words of Edo - "I didn't buy it for the gas mileage."

PML, 32x11.5x15s on aluminum Desert Runners got me 18mpg through the mountains. Got gas on the west side of Knoxville, low fuel light came on when I pulled up to the hotel on the east side of Columbia, SC. 285 miles. That's the best I've gotten out of my truck in the 2 years of ownership.
