Also, couple of pictures from this weekend.

This was after I went through a mud hole that went up to my buddy's knees. I got stuck the first time through and was able to back up and hit it with more speed and got through it

Funny thing.. I JUST got through editing and mastering the final cut of a video montage going all the way back to the seXTERRA spring run. It's gonna be on YouTube shortly and I'll share the link here!

So it was recorded, edited, mastered in full 1080p. I upload it to YouTube and it goes to 360p... I really wanna smash my head though this computer.

It said it didn't recognize my video format but the final copy is in AVI and YouTube says it should recognize it... What the poooooop?!?!

Don't have the HID kit installed yet. Gonna run it with the 9004s until my buddy can help me install the kit.

Thanks, man! And HERE is the link for the exact lights I bought. They seem pretty quality to me so far. I can't really attest to the HIDs yet.

By the way, I'm not sure if I made it clear earlier.. I haven't installed the HIDs yet. Those pictures above are the new 9004 regular bulbs that came with the light as well. The HIDs should be going on soon!

I noticed the reverse lights was taking on some water when it rained.. Good thing I haven't wired it yet

Still works!

I used the same silicone sealant that I used with the snorkel sensor relocation and let it sit a few hours..

Then buttoned everything back up. Having the allen head screws tightened up will still put pressure on the lens. I let it sit like that over night.

This is just the LED. The garage was pitch black before the light was turned on.

Hopefully this'll solve the problem! When I put it back up I'm gonna wire it up. I'm just gonna wire straight up to the reverse lights, no switch. Sometime down the road I'm gonna add some pod LEDs around the top and I'll put some on the rear.

Are those the Hanma lights? You would think they would be sealed better but at least you were able to fix it and the lights weren't damaged.

They are. I bought them used so there could've been something there but I took it all apart and there was a gasket that went around but it was pretty hard so I don't know how good of a waterproofing job it could have done... It seemed like the pressure from the 4 little outside pieces was the only thing that kept it sealed. Now, it actually has sealant AND that pressure. Hopefully it'll hold up!

It just about makes the other lights obsolete. The angle and focusing of the camera makes it looks worse than it actually is but man, that thing is bright!

I've seen the seals on those go every once in a while. You did good on fixing it. How do you have it mounted?

Mostly in the Colorado Springs area but I'll be in Denver for a day or two. Too bad I won't be in the Xterra so I won't be too noticeable

But if you see a new white Forester honking at you.. it's me haha
