I'll take it as a compliment anyway ;)

Not trying to brag butttttt.... :) I was having supper at the local Japanese eatery and you can see the whole parking lot from the restaurant and I parked pretty close. Midway through the meal, a family pulled up in a Honda Ridgeline and was gauking before they even pulled into the space. They were all pointing and carrying on. Once they got stopped, they got out and started taking pictures of the X. A couple of them even got their picture made with the X.

I've had people look at, compliment me on it but it's never been to this extent. I was grinning from ear to ear. I'm not building it just so I can get other peoples attention but that was a really cool moment I figured I'd share :)

A unibodied pickup truck....such a POS.

I saw some people try to off road them, and it wasn't pretty. Honda had a team or two to race them off road to try to build some dirt cred, but they fell apart so embarrassingly that they withdrew, made FRAMES and gusseted and reinforced stuff, replaced the entire suspension, etc...and then entered new series pretending that they were Honda Ridgelines - The same way NASCAR Buicks were Buicks, etc....a race car with a car shell on the outside to so public can see "their car" in the race.

If they sold what they raced, that might be less absurd.

Paid up on the bumper/tire carrier today and having it shipped! Also bought the same shackles I have front for the rear. Next paycheck is matching spare wheel and paint!
