add a second rear light and angled them. Center will still be most lighted but it will cover a wider span

Amber is just so much easier on the eyes in the dark then white light. Also less bugs attract to it. They are a push button turn on no need for auto with reverse that be over kill.

the flush mounted are the same as the none flush mounted. Just a different face on them. I have not wired them up. I got the regulars for the back and still have a set of d2's to mount up front. They even now have the heavy duties now and a few other options. I think rigid comes out with a new product every month.

I would say I'm so happy I went with rigid lights. I broke one of the covers for the lights when I was putting them on before my last trip. I emailed them a picture to the address on there website. They responded in a hour (keep in mind this was 9pm central time) last thursday. And asked for my Name and address and by the time I made it home today it was here.

I have to say those D2 lights I have up front are bright as hell. I have to play around with pointing them so they don't blind anyone. Trying to use them as fog lights. I need to figure out if they are wider one direction then the other. Maybe a light shield will be needed.

your truck is a monster. i love the bumper. i wish my silver X was as bad @ss as yours!

Thanks, All it takes is Money, Time, and Love. By the way your X is not to shabby either.

Hopefully this fall/winter it becomes more of a beast. I have the ARB front locker on pre-order hopefully they get enough orders to start making/designing them. Then switch to a M205 then re-gear front and back 4.1's or maybe 4.56's and put 35's or 36's on. Then I will sell front diff and extended axial for cheap.

You'd need 4x4 hubs a tcase and the front shaft as main components if you snag his old stuff since you're already ts'd on suspension...

Thinking about reduing my whole tool storage area. I do way to many long road trips and I hate getting a hotel for just a few hours and currently have no place to sleep in the X. Its even hard to get enough room to recline one of the front seats. Might just remove the rear seats or atleast one of them.

I took the seats out and leave the backs laying flat. Keeps me from having to be the one to haul everyone around..."Oh, you need a ride? Sorry, only one of you can ride with me, I don't have the seats in the back."

Normaly I have enough stuff in it to say this anyways. But I want to remove stuff to add more stuff.

Well this weekend was the weekend to finally knock out one of my creative creation.

I installed:
DVD deck w/reverse bypass
Axxess ASWC-1 steering wheel control adapter
Forward Facing Camera
Rear Facing Camera
Pumpkin Facing Camera

I have to say its kinda weird due to the some of the cameras have sound I hear noises that If I heard while driving I would not drive my vehicle until I fix them. Its like hearing crazy mechanical grinding and squeaking that is amplified.

Here are some picture of the project.

Pioneer AVH P2400BT

4 Channel DVR

Backup Camera

Forward Camera

Pumpkin Camera

Some of the Crazy Wiring that went into the poject

Final Result, I"m still waiting on a power wire adapter for one of the cameras and a video adapter for another one.

That's a lot of wiring!

What is your thinking behind all the cameras?

Why not, Actually the front and pumpkin is for off-roading. Who needs a spotter. Also there is a 250gb hard drive in the DVR so if anything happens I have proof. Also I want to set it up to the alarm to trigger to turn it on. There are 3 different signals I can send to the DVR it can record besides audio and video.

Very cool. I want a dash cam with a DVR wired to the ignition. Anytime my truck turns on, I want that camera on...but I'll settle for a Contour mounted on the inside of the windshield.
