OK...:kewl:
Sounds good, can't blame you for welding them on much better then fighting with broken bolts. I remember welding them to the frame on my first nissan 4x4. Difficult to lay a good bead while vertical especially in the tight area. But, there again it didn't flex as much as the bolt on sliders I have now.

Low profile and clean lookin great man.
Looks good sir... Keep it up
I think that's the first time I'd even seen a pic of your rig. Those sliders look clean though.
I'm on a penny budget too I just search 4 forums a day looking for deals
I watch Craigslist like a hawk.. CX,TNX,NOAS (Southern Nissan club) Look at Pirate and the other forums too... Most Frontier parts will fit..
Thats how I have scored some sweet deals.. Arb bumper $250, Sliders very cheap , Skids, and so on.. Plus your building a great base with your MAXterra.
Clubs are a sweet way to find deals..
The hinge should line up 1/4" below the rear door line and 10" out inline with the rear light. This should give me a greater than 45 degree angle from the bottom rail to the outer edge of the spare tire. I was trying to create a good exit angle without having the tire sit so high. It should also allow for jerry can placement closer to the door on both sides of the spare.
I'd shoot for the thicker side of 1/4 spacing 1/2" spacing or so. When you flex these trucks up offroad the frame flexes and the body stays the same. Would hate to see the beam crease the back tailgate. But, I guess you could have it offset away from the bumper. I'm saying this because I believe shrock requires 1/2 or so. Sure its ugly but it helps prevent contact. The rubber body pucks are kinda soft.
I just needed to post something... my counter was @ 666 :0mg:
